In the Section Listen you will find bookable time slots, during which your Khalili language support partners will read aloud for you texts and patterns presented in the learning material. When you interact with our Khalili Team Members you feel that they sense certain sacredness in voice. Thus, Eed-b-Eed will focus on live performance rather than recordings, and Eed-b-Eed Learners will be kindly requested to refrain from recording Listening sessions. This will be of particular importance to our female support partners. Moreover, by not posting recordings of Listening sessions online, we are preventing Artificial Intelligence companies from unethical “harvesting” these unique linguistic “data” without properly acknowledging and compensating their authors. As a Learner you will play a vital role in protecting the voice of our partners from misuse.
To prepare for live Listening sessions, you will listen to recordings associated with selected learning materials: words arranged in patterns in the Train Section, and texts given in the Read Section. The recordings will be available for playback with a subscription, but they will not be downloadable, again to protect them from being “harvested”.
